Mother’s Day is a day that is highlighted to celebrate moms. It’s also important to celebrate, spend time, and cherish our moms at different times of the year. Enjoy this list of books and resource to help your littles celebrate Mom with Mother’s Day Picture Books. Find more books about Love Here and a few Activities you can share with others Here.

1. ABC Book for Mother’s Day, $1.00

This is  great little resource I found on BilingualMarketPlace.com that costs $1.00 to purchase. It is a digital download product that you can have kids cut, illustrate, write and color to make for the mom in their life. Check it out for yourself and share with your kids at home or at school.

2. Mamá Goose

A Bilingual Picture Book Edition of Nurseries. This is a collection of songs, riddles, lullabies, and more from all different Spanish speaking countries. Enjoy this book which I would consider to be in the same category as Tortillitas Para Mamà.

3. ¡Te quiero mami! (Spanish Edition)

Mommy Bear is always there for advice, for help, for love. Read about how Little Bear is ready to go on adventures but gets just a bit overwhelmed. Mommy Bear is always there. If you have a collection of Bear Books (where bears are the main character) I highly suggest adding this one to your collection.

4. Quiero a mi Mamá Porque

This takes little animal babies and animal mommies where they each share why they love their moms. Another great addition to a writing warm up for a Mother’s Day writing activity with classroom students. I would also add this to my animal book collection in my classroom library.

5. Siempre te Querré (Spanish Edition

When I was in 3rd Grade, my teacher read this book to us as we rested our heads after recess. She cried at the end of the story and I never understood why until I read it to my students one day. Wow! A mother’s love is forever and this book shows how much a mother is capable of loving.

6. Tortillitas Para Mamá

Part of a Latinx Mom’s duty is to teach their kids part of their heritage. I like this book because you can use it to teach kids authentic Latin American poems and nursery rhymes. This book includes instructions on how to make the read aloud more interactive.

7. Mi Mamá es Increíble // My Mom is Awesome

A bilingual picture book about a little girl that goes along her day thinking about all the ways her mom is Awesome! Moms can do many things and kids are paying attention. Read this Bilingual version with your little ones at home or at school. I like this book in the classroom setting to help students warm up their minds and create a writing activity for Mother’s Day.
